SHIPPING
ITEMS WILL ONLY SHIP MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY IN ORDER TO MINIMIZE CHANCE OF SPOILAGE. Although it is shipped on ice, Sea Moss Hut does not want to take the risk of spoilage due to shipping delays by the carrier. Note that eventually the dry ice will melt.
FOR YOUR SAFETY, THIS ITEM WILL SHIP IN A FREEZER SAFE RECEPTACLE (on dry ice) so that it arrives securely. Once received, we would prefer that you transfer to a jar with a lid.
PERISHABLE ITEM
REFRIGERATE OR FREEZE IMMEDIATELY!!
PRODUCT WILL LAST 3 WEEKS IN THE REFRIGERATOR AND 3-4 MONTHS IN THE FREEZER.
Eventually, mold and bacteria can start o grow on the gel in the fridge. Your nose will tell you what you need to know. You can freeze in smaller portions. The sea moss gel is “thermo-reversible”, meaning it is not harmed by freezing and thawing-even multiple time!
TIPS
- Place sea moss gel in ice cube trays for accurate portion size.
- For topical use, the gel can be stored conveniently in a pump-top dispenser. Just warm it a little and use a small funnel for transferring
